When I try to play a video embedded in a thread in full screen I get this message in the bottom right hand corner. The video plays alright otherwise. This is only when using Chrome, it works ok in Firefox.
However if I play it in YouTube, full screen works OK
Has anyone else experienced this? Do you know how to fix it?

I use chrome all the time because I find it the most stable browser, I've just tried one of Wendy's Kestrel videos and it works ok TJ, only thing I can suggest is clear your cache if you haven't already tried it.

In reply to Alan:
Thanks for the suggestion, Alan. Unfortunately, it has made no difference. The video will play, just not in full screen. Not a big problem as can just click on the YouTube link and then it will play in full screen.
I recently updated to the latest version of Chrome so perhaps that's causing the problem.
In reply to TeeJay:
I've just checked my chrome and it's updating so I'll get back to you.
Same here now
How strange. Not sure there's much we can do about it then.
It looks like youtube have gone over to HTML5 for their video player rather than the flash version, that's the problem.
google HTML5 no longer plays embeded youtube fullscreen (or something like that)
Youtube will eventually put it right.
Looks like you've uncovered the problem, well done. I guess we just wait until they get it sorted.
I found a Chrome Extension called Disable YouTube HTML5 Player which forces YouTube to use Flash. It seems to work and can be easily disabled if you need to.
Nice one Tony I'll keep the HTML version and so i can see when it comes good because eventually they will get rid of the flash player..
At least you've found a work around for folks.
Oh dear! My brain just exploded ... I'll just keep making the vids (know how to do that) & leave it to you techie folk to decide how to watch them!! Lol
