I know I keep harping on about this but I think the time has come to give the PHOTO problem PRIORITY. The site is fast losing credibilty surely someone there must have the capabiltty of putting things right, if not they need to get a professional in. I think everyone has been very patient.
Of all creatures, man is the most detestable, he is the only creature that inflicts pain for sport, knowing it to be pain. ~ Mark Twain

I don't want to sound to pedantic, but there has been nine posts started relating to this problem were there has been no reply or communication from any RSPB Moderators / Staff or the Tech Team advising the members that the Tech Team are aware of the problem and doing everything they can to rectify it!
Six posts were a Moderator has replied informing members that the problem was been looked into ASAP and on one occassion saying it had been resolved?
I appreciate seymouraves efforts in trying to get some answers to this problem by personally speaking to Kevin Middleton, but I think everyone needs to be aware this problem hasn't just started to happen.
It has been eight months of members reporting this problem over and over, with little or no resolve!
I was once asked by a director, how could I justify earning my huge salary and bonus!
I replied " well I hope you have asked all of the other managers the same question "
My point been, if people are paid to do a job! Then what job are they doing?

Nature Is Amazing - Let Us Keep It That Way
Heck. I had no idea it had been going on so long. It was reported to the IT people all that time ago and it is still happening.
Cheers, Linda.

Yes, I'm afraid it has! I had forgotten that I started the original thread LOL
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!

I keep thinking that if new threads are added they might just read them.
Well done Buzzard for your very comprehensive list. You must have been a project Manager in a previous life !!
Yep your thread is included with all the other links.
I cannot see how they have been unable to resolve the situation. If it is down to cost at least telling us would perhaps make us more willing to be patient. It is the total lack of credible information that I find so annoying!

I've learned that I still have a lot to learn...

Let's keep posting to this thread so that it stays at the top of the pile. Maybe someone will then take notice.I don't even know how to get rid of the blank spaces in my gallery because there's nothing there to delete.

Hello everybody,
Sorry it has yet to be resolved, there's a few things we are looking into. We do read the posts, but until it is solved there is not much more to report.
Unfortunately, Community Server, which is the software which we use to run the community, is a third party product, not one we've built ourselves. So it's not as easy to fix as it might appear and we're trying to work out why it's not working for us in this specific situation.
We have had the people in who helped us built the community, and we are doing our best to fix the problem, however it is a tricky one to fix. I appreciate it is very frustrating for all, including us. We'd love nothing better than for the photos to work properly.
I spoke to Seymouraves yesterday, and as he says on http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/forums/t/10599.aspx as soon as we have remedied the problem we will let you know.
Kevin
