Hi guys,
I spoke to a helpful Kevin Middleton at the Lodge. The problem of disappearing photos is being looked into. The website system runs on 2 servers and sometimes the pics are loaded onto one server and don't copy across to the other. Hence if you are logged onto server 1 and the photos are on server 2, you can't see them.

Thanks S. and very well done.
At least we know what the problem is and why it is happening. That is a start, and they are working on it.
Cheers, Linda.

Well done Seymouraves. Let's hope that they can now sort the problem out. I was beginning to lose the will to live.

There is a sufficiency in the world for man's need but not for man's greed.
Hi,
having got that info- theoretically logging out and back in should give you a 1 in 2 chance of getting the other server and therefore being able to see missing photos - assuming the servers are random and not geographical :)
Thank you Seymouraves. That certainly explains why some of us can't see pictures, when others can.
Thanks for the info Seymouraves, I'll put away the hammer for a while, then.......
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
hi Seymour
Thank you for your information (Kevin - thumbs up}
Hopefully it all will be sorted in time and the photos will shine as they should do.
