Hi everyone, I took this picture of this bird, unfortunately it came out quite poorly due to the bird being brown on a brown background so the auto focus system couldn't really detect it.
It was taken in Edinburgh near the zoo. I asked this question to a Scottish bird place, can't remember what they're called but they said it was a buzzard. Using the identifier on here, it's saying it's an eagle, looks like a golden eagle out of the selected but what does everyone else think?
I'd say buzzard too, you can make out the pale "V" on it's chest. If it had been an eagle it would have filled the frame :o)
this is a pic to show Comparison in size of eagle vs red kite (red kites are slightly larger than buzzard) so you'd definitely know it was an eagle if you saw it :o)
