Hoping someone can help. 2 nights ago we had a bird hit an upstairs window hard. When we went to investigate there was a white splatter all down the outside of one window and the same but on the inside of the open window. Apart from a couple of feathers there was no bird visible but all over the carpet and the bed were tiny hard black balls like very small peppercorns. Unfortunately I didn’t take a photo as I was anxious to vacuum it all up but now I’m wondering what on earth it was? Never seen anything like it ever before.
