GOOD EGG AWARD UPDATE

Hello folks,

We have been thinking about making some changes to the good egg award. Under the current system, Good Eggs are only recognised once, but we'd like to create a new system to recognise those of you who consistently contribute really good stuff to the Forum.

One of the ideas we've been throwing around is that of a monthly rolling award. If anyone has any thoughts on this or other ideas regarding improvements to the good egg award we would welcome constructive comments.

    Exactly Mr Seymour

Mr Blackbird {Dave} feels much the same here and has to say his say on the matter

Scopes do say a lot, and they are there for the birds and for you to see the best results on the birding front

    Regards

    Hi-

    This made me smile;

Seymouraves posted a suggestion on this thread back in February which I'd like to resurrect, because I think it's a good one (though it is very annoying how often he is right about things - Mrs. S. has my deepest sympathies...).

Actually I listen to Mrs S a lot-  it gets me through most of the time :)

When I'm birding I  don't  argue - I let my scope do the talking :)

    Hi-

I use my scope to help out beginners, explain ID to anyone who asks, show people new birds, give masterclasses, amuse wardens,  finish arguments, slap down idiots, and occasionally   totally embarrass ignorant muppets.

    :)

    - I suspect Blackbird doesnt watch westerns

    Hi Seymour

I love 'me' scope and 'me' birds, so it is the learning process and there is a lot to learn in the process of birding

It goes on and on, and when we are 84 it still goes on.

I am a girl...I do not watch westerns at all LOL

Mind you a dose of  Alias Smith and Jones did not amiss years ago LOL - and the Virginan.

    Regards
