It is thanks to Shane’s idea that we post December and January Good Egg post results.
It is with a sad heart that we say good bye to 2 previous Good Egg award holders. Al and Kesmum will be sorely missed by all of us. In celebration of their time on the communities we have decided to choose two posts for December and January
December’s Good egg post goes to Kezsmum for her post regarding a G.S Woodpecker
And January’s good egg post award goes to Al for his trip report of Oronsay
A special mention goes to Shane, Aiki and Sparrow, along with all forum members who shared this sad news and their thoughts of Al and Kezsmum.
Our thoughts go out to Al and Pip’s family and friends.
Warm Regards,

Why not check out the news from the wildlife enquiries team?
So nice to see them both honoured in this way. Two wonderful characters who will be missed

Thanks Tom and the mods for doing this tribute to two popular forumites who are sorely missed, my thoughts are also with their families.

Thanks all, I'm sure someone else would have come up with the idea if I hadn't, and thanks to Marianne and Linda for bringing the news of Pip's and Al's passing to the attention of us all.
A fitting tribute to a couple of Good Eggs. Just a pity they can't read in what high esteem they were held - or perhaps they can.
Well done Shane for suggesting this.

What sad news ... I don't post a lot in the main boards as much as I used to, but I do stalk and watch and read. A worthy idea.
