I thought we had seen the last of it, but it's snowing heavy here. we have had an inch already!
I was happy this morning because my little wren came back.
all the ground food has been buried, and the blackbird are having to dig for their food.
Hey farmer, farmer, put away the D.D.T now. Give me spots on my apples, but leave me the birds and the bees, please!
Hi All
I got up this morning and what did I see! it was snowing again.
every day now heavy snow, luckly as the day goes on most of it goes or we would be under it by now :-(
Just when I think thats the last of it, it snows again, will it never end? poor birds I'm having to put out gound food twice a day now, they are eating us out of food !
we have a pub next to us which cooks food, if they have any bread or pie left they give it to us to feed the birds.
No snow here but we are having very heavy rain. The fields can't take any more and it is just flowing onto the roads and the drains and ditches are overlowing, causing dangerous driving conditions. Went to Supermarket this morning to find they were turning cars away as the water sitting in the car park was a lake.
When will it all end? This week's forecast is all doom and gloom. We have a lovely sunny day here, but spoilt by a bitter, bitter wind.
Cheers, Linda.

Hey Sparrow,
Can you send a little of that sun over here
No!!! We need it all LOL
There's more snow forecast, I hear! We woke up to new snow for the third day in a row here in Worcestershire. The garden is labouring under a heavy layer of ice. But amazingly, there through the snowflakes, was a female blackbird gathering nesting material! She must be mad!

Sparrow, don't shout too loud that you have a sunny day or your local water board will put a hose pipe ban on you.
Hello Steffers, and welcome to the forum.
LOL Brenda - I am fully expecting that to happen as our rainfall has been extremely low this winter. You can almost cross the river in places without getting your knees wet. I said it was sunny, and it was. Lovely blue sky etc. but the wind was ferocious and bitter cold.
Sorry Steffers, I didn't say Hello. We also have a blackbird taking nesting material into the climbers.
