Listening to a local Ranger on the radio he said Wood pigeons would soon be moving on, also saying that there has not been any research as to were they go. Does anybody have any idea were they might go? Having said that I had a pair hang around all last winter.
I hope someone does do some research on them.

Hi Lucy
My wood pigeons are severely aero-dynamically challenged and only get off the ground because of the curvature of the earth...!
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hi there,
Love your last post Squirrel - it made me giggle!
My wood pigeons have migrated - they've migrated to the fields behind us! In a couple of weeks they'll no doubt migrate back to the garden (fickle whatsits they are)!!
Regards
Kerry

Thank you Kezmo. I always say what is life without a little humour - in the appropriate places, of course. Actually, thinking about it - sometimes at inappropriate times, with me. I'll post a little story on your page...
Hi Squirrel - we have just been having a giggle at your w.p.'s - think it would be a good idea to have an artist on line to draw little pictures to go along side. Also reading about the cherry pickers!

Hi Lucy, I am sure Kezmo won't mind if you have a read of my little story on her page then...
Not at all, go ahead - I'm still chuckling now!
