I've just seen this in the Independent - is the RSPB or anyone else aware of the funding for this section of the police potentially being withdrawn? Here's a link to the article:

They are keeping it quiet evidently Clare, very worrying. Seems as if the RSPB are aware of the threat so let's hope they keep us up to date.

Seems as though this has been kept fairly quiet I thought the wildlife crime resources were spread too this already.
