Hi Alan I have signed the petition, thanks for letting us know about the petition, It makes me angry when people shoot birds for so called sport if we meant to have guns we would have been born with them already fitted.

I have NO respect for a country where shooting migratory birds for no reason is a national hobby.
A great deal of time (often by volunteers) and money is spent on conservation projects in the UK and other civilised European Countries, you sometimes feel this is wasted when the species that we are trying to protect do not actually reach our shores.

The recent RSPB/BirdLife Malta appeal for to help to stop illegal spring hunting in Malta has had a huge response so far with over 16,000 UK signatures to date! Another 35,000 signatures have been received across BirdLife International in Europe! If you haven’t already, do read the above weblink and add your name! Please please forward the appeal details onto as many friends and colleagues as possible.
