I live near to this and I have seen them flying over my garden, they are based at Rockingham Forest. I have been emailing the site manager and he was telling me all about the kites.I email him to see if what I saw over my garden was a red kite.
I feel very sad that some one can do this to some spectacular bird of prey.
Hey farmer, farmer, put away the D.D.T now. Give me spots on my apples, but leave me the birds and the bees, please!
Just so glad this was highlighted again. We must try and keep it obvious so that people may sign.
I signed a while ago now
So sad to hear any BoP suffering for no reason at all.
It is so cruel and meaningless. {sad}

Kathy and Dave
What terrible news! :-(

It is great that you are helping to promote the pledges to stop illegal killing of birds of prey. Could you, please, get everyone to sign it very soon. The petition will close on Monday 25th January, and it will be delivered to the Government shortly after this. Keep an eye on the campaign pages of the main website, where a news article will appear following the handover and lobby.
They are brain-dead, mindless ~ there are no words to actually describe them. There best reasons fall far short of any realistic cause . . . . it is possible a good job I was not near them with a 12 bore or you would be writing about me . . . .
I was up in Yorshire a short while ago specially to 'shoot' the red kites ~ here is my effort!
Lovely photo David. Thanks for sharing it.
Cheers, Linda.

That's the kind of shooting we want to see!
Super shot David {big smile}
That is the sort of shooting that I like
Terrific photograph David.
Don't forget to sign the RSPB pledge (BoP), on previous page. LuckyBustard's posting.
Petition closes on 25th January.
It's times like this that I'm ashamed to be human.
I don't get why farmers feel the need to kill them. Do they feed on their free range chickens or something?
