The Law Commission Consultation has been open since August and will remain so until 30 November. This is of critical importance for our wildlife as it gives everyone the opportunity to influence the laws protecting our wildlife. I cannot stress this enough, we have a chance now to get stricter penalties for wildlife crimes written into law in England and Wales!
You may have seen our Laws for Wildlife website page, our e-news letter and some of the press releases we have issued on this. You may also have seen other posts on this forum mentioning it. The big question we want to know is have you sent your comments in? Please use the poll below to say yes or no. If you have, what have you asked for? If you have not, please tell us why.
If this is news to you and you want to find out more please click here. This is a major step you can take to help save species like the hen harrier.

Done!
Hi Cirrus, we can't change your vote unfortunately but it has been acknowledged that you are now a 'yes'!
For those voting no, what's stopping you? We would be interested to hear from you!
I copied the RSPB official view, which I support, plus a specific comment on the need to ban carbofurans in order to protect birds of prey
