Probably an issue worth a thread of it's own, i'll split this. If you have any concerns about the impact of the wind farm on the SSSI then make sure you raise these during the consultation period. Also get in touch with local conservation groups involved with the SSSI to assess the impact it may have. Wind farms are assessed on a site by site basis, if it helps reduce carbon emissions and doesn't impact negatively on the wildlife and habitats then we would not have an issue with it and vice versa.
