The hustle and bustle of a seabird colony give the first hint as to just how important the UK's coastline is to marine wildlife. The seas surrounding our island support almost half of all UK wildlife. As one of the best places for seabirds anywhere in the world, our coasts and seas are irreplaceable. However, they're in trouble.
