What nonsence! Running around screaming like that woman in the Simpson's...
Hope they don't read this article because that WILL get them running scared!

All the children are going to get eaten by all the scary wild animals that live in the UK!!!!
These people should go and live somewhere where there are REAL dangerous animals. I suggest one of these places -

Well done Kat these Sea Eagles in other country's live close to populated areas and give no problems,of course as with all birds there will always be odd ones that are a small problem mostly protecting nest or there territory.
Think this group have ulterior motive.
Exactly sooty! It's not like every day you hear in the news of children being carried away by eagles is it - even though around the world there are places where eagles live in close proximity to humans! I dread to think what these people's attitudes would be if there were REALLY dangerous animals in the UK (besides people...). We don't have tigers, elephants, highly venemous snakes, black widow spiders et al that we demand other countries do more to protect, when we have the worst record for driving out our native predators of any. I hope that there are no Great White Sharks in the UK, because in this country we have a really bad attitude to anything that may be remotely dangeous and I have no doubt that some Quint will appear with one aim and one aim only...
What minute amount of credibility the Scottish Gamekeepers Association might have had just vanished in the twinkling of an eye.......
Every day a little more irate about bird of prey persecution, and I have a cat - Got a problem with that?
Organisations like gamekeepers trot these things out every now and then, in the hope they'll eventually get public sympathy for their own narrow cause.
Seriously thinking about trying harder!
I personally find the article hilarious, but that's because I know it is stupid, things like this though can be extremely damaging to wildlife when they reach the ears of the moronic minority that believe everything with teeth or a shark beak etc is out to get them. It's things like this that drove out most of our (and other "developed" countries) native predators to start out with! Stupid myths with little or no basis on reality. It's sending us right back to Little Red Riding Hood Land. I recommend Roald Dahl's version for a truer picture! (Then read his version of the Three Little Pigs...ROTFL!)
Just in case anyone is wanting to read, it is available online...

What a crock of Sh** !!! these plums should maybe show more concern about the number of sicko's that are on the loose on our streets these days that are a threat to our kids !!
Why do these pillocks always have to "look" for an animal to persecute.
Feed The Birds....not the cats!!!!
I know....my spelling's crap !!
I know, I saw this article in an email around the office today - how ridiculous!! The only reason that cleric got scratched by the eagle in the first place was because it was trying to escape, probably because it was scared. It doesn't mean it's going to become used to humans and lose their fear and start attacking children!! Stupid people.
Home again, home again.

Just how low will the anti raptor brigade sink in the endeavour to rid the countryside of birds of prey /They must be scraping the bottom of the barrel now, maybe they are getting desperate.
Pete
Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
I think they've scraped the bottom of the barrel away completely for this one! They've gone right through the hull of the ship!
