It was good to see that the case against the Derbyshire 'keeper was successful,the 100 hours community service and £10,000 costs will hopefully send a message out that this is not to be tollerated,well done to the RSPB investigations team and the police wildlife officers.It is of course a great pity that it has to come to this because of a very small minority of keepers and land owners many of whom are as keen on wildlife as the rest of us.

Maybe if it is proved to work it may be taken on board South of the Border,lets hope so it may give the police a boost as well as they must get despondent with some of the results
