I may be behind everyone with this but I have just heard about Savannah Cats! These beasts are a cross between a Serval and a domestic cat and look like smallish leopards. They stand around 18inches, 46cms at the shoulder and are about 43inches, 1 metre 9cms long. This is not a moggy! Can you imagine one of these in your garden among your baby birds?
They are being bred and sold in this country and many people own them. Apparently they are not on the "dangerous animals" list and DEFRA has no intention of them being placed on the list.
Try "Googling" Savannah Cats" and you'll see what monsters they are.
I hope it is not long before DEFRA changes their collective mind and considers the effect on wildlife if they become any more numerous.

God gave us two ears and one mouth for a very good reason!
With price tag's in thousands, I don't think many will be escaping.
It is worrying tho, as these are quite a bit bigger than the bangal's that were popular a few years ago.
It's both what you do and the way that you do it!
