I've just signed up to be a RSPB Campaign letter writer, i've not done anything like this before, but i've read all the info, got advice from others who do it via twitter, so i thought why not, i'm in.!!
I'm still waiting to recieve the info and advice through the post, (only signed up last night). but i'm wondering if many of you knew about this..? and in-fact if there were any letter writers on here already who could perhaps share a few tips & tricks.?

Hi Juno,
good on you for becoming a Campaign Letter Writer! I have been one for 2 years now and find it rewarding - the part that you get to play really helps, well I think so anyway. In my mind its something that every RSPB member should be able to do at some point.
You'll get newsletters on campaign progress, letters through the post on current campaigns and emails. Don't worry its not as exhausting as it sounds, and is a great way to help the RSPB with their work.
I signed up a few months back ... letter writting is my thing! ;o)

Quick question to those of you already doing the business so to speak, is it better to write to your MP at the House of Commons or there home address..?
Also how should one address them at the start of the letter..? Sir...? Right Honourable..? or oy Gitbag..?

I was always under the impression you write to them at their official address which should be quite easily searchable.
That way their secretary will get the later and give it them over breakfast .... ;o)
I've been checking out the facts Re: the latest campaign, its interesting... also my MP has listed that 1 of his political interests is the environment..
