    Hi Rob

    I hope i look as as good as that at 60 years old LOL

    ...and to think she has gone against the odds with all the hidden dangers contributed by humans too - she is one smart lady

    ...she has gone through 4 leg rings too.

    Thank you Rob for your kind comment {big smile}

    Greatly appreciated

    Wonder if we will hear more stories about the same bird in the years to come

    How long do Albatrosses live?

    Regards

  • Good morning Blackbird.

    I have read that the average lifespan of an Albatross is between 40-60 years but they can live up to 80 years of age !! How amazing is that.

    Goodmorning Rob from a bright a very sunny Bedford!

    I wonder if Wisdom will live to 80 years more and that would break the records

    It is amazing what this one bird has done in her lifetime.... we can only sit back in awe of her sturdiness, and self assurance.
