Hi im not sure if this the right place to be posting this but i was wondering if anyone had an idea as to where i could find information about rare or farmand bird spieces which could be found in the midlands area. More specifically Northamptonshire and Leicestershire. Im looking for information on the range of speices in the area there population etc. Thanks
Hi jugsholme and welcome to the RSPB Community. There are lots of "right places" for this sort of thing. One of them could be http://www.bto.org/birdatlas/latest_results/region04.htm
No doubt other contributors to this forum more local to you will have ideas too.

Every day a little more irate about bird of prey persecution, and I have a cat - Got a problem with that?
hi get in touch with local recorders, or ring the lodge at sandy,
as the information on rare birds will not be available, for obvious
reasons, if you live near rutland, worth a visit any time of year.
best regards mac
