I feel like all I do is come here with problems, sorry!
We have the decorator in this week and is doing one of the back bedrooms and he said he could hear some funny noises this afternoon, which turned out to be the nextdoor neighbours - with some form of gun!
They were firing it to make all the birds take off in our garden and then taking shots at them as they took off!
He's said who it was, the neighbour's son mostly but his mates too, like some sort of sick game.
From what I could see when I came home tonight there aren't any dead birds - and if I get my way there won't be!
If this continues to be their latest hobby I'll be going straight to the police! I'll also make sure to take photos and god forbid they get any birds, I'll keep them too.
I'm just so angry I cannot put it into words! But I could do with some advice; if this happens again does anyone know if there is anyone in particular I should be getting in contact with?
It all just beggars belief, it really does...
Sorry Al, that's what I meant, finding the things in my garden.
And knowing what they're like, they wouldn't have had the proper targets etc either...
I really want to go to the police, along with their drug smoking, but its that grand dilema of the trouble that might come with it. I hate putting up and shutting up, but I'd rather be safe than sorry!

Similar cases to yours appear on Judge Judy regularly. I know that's in the US and their laws are different, but these BB guns can take someones eye out!
I know that your neighbour problem is much worse than mine, but I would definitely report my neighbours if they were firing a BB gun into my garden and I would do it before someone or something got hurt.

You should get intouch ith the police.
I use an Air rifle on a large estate and its folks like me and like minded responsible hunters that get the brunt of of everything because of dumb small minded idiots that think its well cool to shoot a sparrow thats on a feeder.
Try phoning crime stoppers you dont have to leave your name with them Tell them everything of what is happening . Or go into your local police station with the BB's and aske to see the wildlife offocer Explane to them whats happening and they will get on to it. failing that there is always your local newspaper. That would be the last starw. They love nothing more than a story like that . (I know becuse one of my mates is a reporter)

You now have proper evidence of what these thugs are doing. Those bullets, plastic or otherwise, should not be in your garden, and the "children" should not be on the street with a gun of any description. They could easily take an eye out. Have you spoken to other more decent neighbours?

we've mentioned it to the neighbour over the road, but we live on the end (being number 1) and nextdoor-but one don't speak to anyone - although they are closer to nextdoor than we are, if you get what I mean. in terms of space.
I noticed today that eldest son's mates (the ones who I'm on about) were round in the next street at someone they know. Hopefully they'll go there instead!
If they are just silly, stupid, thick lads they will easily and quickly get bored. Fingers crossed they do and move on elsewhere.
