Sir David Attenborough suggested in a recent interview for the Daily Mail that a good way to protect garden birds from cat predation is to get them some bells for their collars, with Christmas coming up now is a good time to maybe by any friends or relatives with moggies that hunt a jingly wildlife saving present! We agree with Sir David as you can see here on our website - collar that cat - we have been advocating this for many years! So cat owners, help save a robin this Christmas, put a bell on your cats collar!
Make sure the bell is loud or even better, buy two or three!

Good idea IH, trouble is that I'm always finding them strewn round the garden!! The little horrors are very adept at kicking them off!
I think one of those Alpine cow bells woulkd be a good solution...that would slow them down as well as herald their presence - clang, clang lol!
