Hi Dan, great post, and indeed worrying times for all involved in the area. The scenes after the typhoon look devastating and it is hard to imagine how anything could withstand such a battering. My optimistic view is that wildlife is often more resilient than we give it credit for so hopefully they were able to sit out the storm but realistically, it is likely that wildlife did suffer to some extent, it will probably take some time to grasp the full extent of the impacts though.
