Proposed Badger Cull in Wales

Under another post, we've got into a discussion about the Welsh Assembly and their stupid, nonsensical and utterly useless (no bias, honest!) plan to cull badgers in an attempt to prevent Bovine TB.

Squirrel posted a link to an RSPCA petition against the cull, and I thought I would put it here too, in case anyone else would like to sign.

It only takes 30 seconds to sign, so please consider making this small effort to try and protect these fabulous animals.

Thanks,

Badgerbread

PS OK, I admit it, I am biased!!

  • Great photo of Boris and Betty - but I still can't see the first one!

The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.

The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!

  • Will try again!!!

You have no control over what life & people throw at you - but you have full control over how you deal with it!

I can see the first one, but not Boris & Betty.  Ho hum...

Chez, do B&B seem hungrier than normal this week?  Moses & Miriam seem to be eating for England.  Between the badgers, the squirrel and the bluetits, I'm going to have to open my own bloomin' peanut farm!

  • Now I can see the last photo - being the second one you posted of the badger and the hedgehog sharing a meal - but neither of the first two!!!!! Great photo of them together and something I have never seen before either. Many thanks for your perseverance as it is lovely to see.

  • Hiya

Yes BB they are coming earlier and eating me out of house and home!! With 3 visiting I have to put 3 lots of supper out, I can't stand to think of one coming late and missing out and being hungry - soft sod I know but they do tug at your heart strings.  I think I have another young badger visiting at the moment - think I will call her Madge the Badge!!!

As for the 'disapearing pictures' Squirrel I haven't a clue, I can see them one minute and they are gone the next.  I hope they do something about it soon.

  • How very annoying. I still can't see any pictures on this thread.

    Cheers, Linda.
