I have asked David whether there will be a wait given the time difference between that first laid egg & the rest ... who knows if they are viable still but that one that hatched proved us all wrong, just such a shame that it came out into all the disruption at this site!
Thanks again Wendy and David for Blog.
Such a sad year, but we are privileged to be able to watch nature, experiencing a natural event, (hopefully not too common) ,uncomfortable but interesting.
This morning sees the 'Bully' back on the ledge and eventually to the Box.Mr P leaves as she continues to sit ignoring the Eggs, and then flies back and forth, intimidating. Doh!!!
10.50
Has another Egg hatched
Can't really tell Kate although does look likely ... that intruder blocking the way still!
This almost duplicate of yours earlier. but still not definable
Definitely was the intruder who spent several hours on nest & left @ 14.10 & returned again @ 15.06 with Mr P trying his best to incubate in between times but is reluctant to be around when she comes to call!
Big Mama
has been in box trampling over the Eggs, which look still whole(so no more hatched thank goodness.
and then flew.
