Its that time of year when our Winter visitors are arriving here en mass. Migration is a time and energy consuming activity, so what impact would a storm such as St Jude have on the journeys of these birds? Have you any migrants missing in action or arrived later than usual? Perhaps you've seen a rare visitor, such as the Yellow rumped warbler mentioned on Autumnwatch tonight. Let us know!Claire
Have your usual amount of Redwing/Fieldfare arrived? Any rarities blown into your area?
Certainly hearing plenty of Fieldfare/Redwing here now. No 'rarities' as far as I know though!

There's usually a few more Fieldfare in my part of the world by now and I normally here the Redwing arrive overnite, but not so much as a squeak as yet :(
