Hi,
everyone knows Welney is good for wildfowl in winter, as well as Corn bunting, tree sparrow, barn owl, yellowhammer etc.
BUT... it's actually a good place in late April early May. Many migrant waders go through as well as Arctic Terns, yellow wagtails etc.
Late August and September can also be good for waders, even the occasional rarity.
