In extremely poor light and towards the end of a very good day birding. I visited a feeding station to find some rather fat Rats tucking into some grain.
I also managed a few photo's of a few birds.

Nature Is Amazing - Let Us Keep It That Way
Well I know not everyone is fond of rats, but I have to say that I rather am!! They're so cute!! Great pics Buzzard considering the light conditions!!

Love the birds, Buzzard, as for that other thing with the long tail,' I just couldn't comment'.
Nice one, all round, Buzzard thanks for sharing!
For viewing or photography right place right time is everything. I'd rather be in the right place with poor kit than have the best kit and be in the wrong place.
Great photos Buzzard - but you can keep the rats your way, if you wouldn't mind! I wouldn't mind the little yellow jobby though - which I assume is a Siskin???????
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
It's a yellowhammer I think Squirrel!
Am I alone in my fondness for rats then....
Thanks MarJus - I'd still like it..... LOL

Thanks MarJus it is a Yellowhammer.
No MarJus, you're not alone. I admit to a certain fondness, and they do have cute faces. My lone rat is very, very fat.
Thanks Buzzard for these photos. I love the siskin dressed as a yellowhammer.
Cheers, Linda.

Hey farmer, farmer, put away the D.D.T now. Give me spots on my apples, but leave me the birds and the bees, please!
I note the robin has a ring on it's leg.
