Another day attempting to use the camera, I visited a local spot were I have seen good numbers of Lotties.
So armed with some goodies and my camera I attempted to get some photo's.
Again I took numerous shots trying out different exposures etc.
I hope you enjoy them.

Fantastic pictures Buzzard. The clarity of colour and detail is great. Thank you.
WOW Buzzard! What fantastic shots! I love the long-tails - I watch them most days, flitting about in the trees opposite my office window.
Excellent shots Buzzard. Thanks for sharing them. Lovely little birds.
Cheers, Linda.

Fabulous photos Buzzard. Thanks so much for sharing them with us.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hey Buzz,
while you are trying it out the camera , do you have it set half a stop down? I find mine works better that way because you can always lighten a dark image if you have the digital info but you can't darken a bright one if the pixels are burnt out :) I've been using auto bracket in this snowy weather too.
Know what I mean :) ?

lovely birds, very funny to watch, and fast.
Hey farmer, farmer, put away the D.D.T now. Give me spots on my apples, but leave me the birds and the bees, please!

Hi S, I know nothing about photography.
I don't know what half a stop down is?
I don't know if the photo's are over exposed, good, bad or indifferent etc.
I was in a woodland area with very poor light and I used different manual settings on the camera.
I'm trying to get my head around what does what instead of using all the auto functions.
Lovely pics Buzzard! Such sweet little birds!
