Hello to all. A wee trip to my local RSPB conditions very dull. At least there is water now the ice is in retreat. My first view of a wild White tailed sea Eagle! 500 lens full zoom and heavily cropped. On an island in Loch Leven, a long way away!
While trying to get three different geese to all look up together, there was a stand off!
Finally the Greylag turns, but wait thats no Canada!
Brave Buzzard.
Nice encounter with Sparrow Hawk, She would have been a great shot in better light! Shame :-) next time.
Just a quick trip, for niger seed and a new read, hope you enjoy the update.
John :-)
For viewing or photography right place right time is everything. I'd rather be in the right place with poor kit than have the best kit and be in the wrong place.
Great photo's as always John. Nice to see the W T S E.
It's is much better been able to get out and about now the snow has nearly gone!
I have been attempting some photo's of geese and ducks, tried getting some of Tufted Ducks diving.
I need to have some tuition, I'll keep trying and hopefully will get the shot I'm after.
Regards Buzzard
Nature Is Amazing - Let Us Keep It That Way
Hi John, I had read that the White Tailed Sea Eagle was being seen regularly on St. Serf's island and here you are showing a photograph of it. Well done and thank you. Great photographs as ever. Sorry you had a bad light day, the sun came out here for a few hours today.
Hi John.Great pictures as usual, thanks for posting. Great to see the white-tailed sea eagle.Paul
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Hi John
Lovely report and the pictures made up for the dull weather.
Fabulous pictures of the WTSE and all the other birds that you ahve caught on film
I went to Vane Farm years ago now and have great memories of the place.

Superb photos John, I love them all and how wonderful to see the WTSE. Vane Farm seems to get an amazing variety of birds. I am quite envious.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
John I am so jealous that you saw the WTSE!
Great photos!

Brenda H Sun!! what is that? The camera got the view, I got a dot.
MarJus, It looks like I may have to go to Mull one day and get a better view.
Squirrel, It does Vane Farm is great, but my real view was more like this un cropped!!
Not much to be jealous of!
Thanks again
