Seeing KatTai's picture of Red Grouse standing next to a sign, reminded me of a picture I took at Seahouses last summer, I think it is self explanatory.

Hi ND
Your photo isn't showing at the moment. I will try again a bit later on!
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Well that was peculiar, now it is - love it. These birds have no respect for authority do they!
:-D Nice one!

Love it - reminds me of a 'deserted part' of Texas. The line of tumbleweed rolls through past the camera as it take the shot of the latest film.
Looks very deserted, and forgotten about. Metal plackards whining, and no-one there.
Ghost town comes to mind
Snap out of the dream mode, Kathy.!!

Is that guard dog a Black Headed Gull or a Med Gull?
Just interested {smile}
Brilliant pic Norfolk dipper!
' The Beak' I presume. Classic ND.

Interesting comments, actually the land you can see in the background is The Farne Islands.
Not sure if the sign applies to 'all you can see', if so would suggest that either birds can't read or are just criminals.
BTW, It's a Black-headed Gull.
