2009 was for me a nice year ish, Tonight I will toast 2010 and hope you all and myself have a good one. Filled with birds!! The end of the year has been a challenge, practically snowed in, as far as trips go anyway. Temps at -10 and below, frozen pipes and constant digging out. Great fun!! The good thing has been more time looking out into my own garden and beyond. One or two shots I hope you enjoy.
Coal Tit
Tree Sparrow
Mistle Thrush
Collard Dove

Yellowhammer
Chaffinch

Happy new year to all
John :-)
For viewing or photography right place right time is everything. I'd rather be in the right place with poor kit than have the best kit and be in the wrong place.
Hi John
All worth it in the end even despite of the snowy/icy weather where you stay.
Thank you for sharing your snowy pictures - love the Yellow Hammer.
Going to join you with more bird trips, and better pictures in 2010
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you tooxx

Happy New Year John, Blackbird & everyone on the site.
That poor little tree sparrow looks utterly miserable & fed up of the snow, bless!
Where as the chaffinch looks quite pleased with himself.
Fantastic photo's, thankyou for sharing them.
Still away from home but just had to pop on line and wish you all a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR and THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR FRIENDSHIP in THE PAST YEAR. Do enjoy tonight .
John, thanks once again for those lovely photographs and if I get the hang of my new camera, I may be able to put them on my own computer and show some on here.

Nature Is Amazing - Let Us Keep It That Way
Hi John, brilliant photos - as ever. It has been great to have chats with you and see all your wonderful photos of your regulars, your local scenery / reserves etc. and I look forward to many more such encounters in 2010. A very happy New Year to you.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Superb photos as usual, all fantastic can't pick a favourite.
Wishing you too a really Happy New Year - look forward to more of your photos in 2010 Cheers! Hope you and your family keep warm and toasty.
