I went across to Martin Mere recently, mainly to see the thousands of Pink Feets that are there at the moment, and was not disappointed, great spectacle and great noise! It was also great to see families of whoopers starting to return from Iceland. Would recommend a visit, lots more photos on my blog site http://walksnwildlife.blogspot.com/

You are lucky to live somewhere where you can see sights like those. I'm envious! Great photos by the way.

Excellent photos Gary. That must have been quite a spectacle.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hi Gary
Fabulous pictures, and a lovely set of pictures on yur blog site too

Puffin, fantastic photographs. We go to Martin Mere at least once, around this time of year. (My sister lives in Cheshire, so always a good time to visit her)
Great stuff Puffin! I used to visit quite a lot when I lived in cheshire, very nice place.

For viewing or photography right place right time is everything. I'd rather be in the right place with poor kit than have the best kit and be in the wrong place.
