Not strictly wildlife, but thought I would share some photos I was lucky to have the opportunity to take of a black barn owl. This owl belongs to a friend that shows them to raise awareness etc....
The photos don't really do her justice!!
Isn't she stunning!

Hi Tish
There seems to be a glitch at the moment with certain photos inserted on and after 6th October. The techie guys are looking into it (as opposed to looking at the photos which, of course, like the rest of us, they can't see!)
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hi Marjus
What wonderful photos! She is superb - perfect in every way!

Ah, more invisible creatures - hope they get the tech problem sorted soon!

An absolutely fantastic looking bird. So glad to witness such a wonder of nature.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
MarJus, what other tricks, er birds, do you have up your sleeve? Never seen anything like this bird and had no clue they even existed until now. Thanks! =O)
