Visited an area called Keyhaven and Pennington Marshes. On the south coast just west of Lymington. Fairly large wetland area with a great number and variation of water fowl. A great place to visit and easy to loose 5-6 hours on a sunny day.
Couple of photos from my day. Caught a Mute Swan just as it landed. Slightly different angle on a Common Redshank exposing plumage under wings. One of hundreds of Wigeon that were around Miraculously caught a Goldcrest that did the honour of staying still for a whole second.
If you are ever in the area, definitely a lovely days walk.
