www.wwt.org.uk/.../ There is also the Wildfowl and Wetland Centre in Gloucestershire which is the headquarters of the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust and In the winter months is a good place to see wintering Bewick Swan’s.

There is also a woodland area in Gloucestershire called Nagshead an RSPB reserve of which you can see if lucky Hawfinches during the Spring and Summer and also Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers. Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers can also be seen again if lucky in the woodland at RSPB reserve called Middleton Lakes in another county Staffordshire!.
There is also RSPB reserve Sandwell Valley on the outskirts of Birmingham which is mainly a wetland reserve!
