LOL - that happens to me a lot! Usually Sundays....!
I never know what day it is most days lol
However, I am looking forward to seeing the lovely Iolo Williams on Autumnwatch.
I thought some of you girls (and perhaps a few boys) might enjoy this slightly unconventional picture of Iolo - obviously posing as a naturalist!!!!
Pipit :)))
Just showed the pic to my wife. She says a big thank you!!!
Just got to go and pop her eyes back into thier sockets!! :)

I don't have to come here for all this abuse you know! ;o)
I am wondering where Pipit is ... I suspect she has gone for a lie down after 90 minutes to Iolo on the tele! ;o)
Incidentally, Iolo's Secret Life of Birds was on before Autumnwatch tonight .. a repeat from Sunday.

Doh!! Would you believe it. Ever since the horrible wind we have had power cuts - 3 in the last few days. Tonight we have been off from 7pm until just now, so I missed the lovely Iolo and the less lovely but very entertaining Autumnwatch team. Luckily can catch up on BBCi tomorrow. Be prepared for a bit of oooooooo'ing in my next post :-/
4 hours of no leccy was a bit trying but candlelight and cold beans can be very edifying, sometimes.

I have to say that I really enjoyed the article about the Starlings last night. The way that cameras where set up to see where the Starling would go to when they used the pier to roost. They are very clever at knowing where to feel safe and secure.
Just to see them gather in their groups and from all those superb shapes was mind blowing.
Love to see the heat source cameras doing their work too.
I remember seeing Starlings doing exactly this in Leighton moss this time last year, and the formations where wonderful to watch.
