My flight shots have improved considerably over the last couple of years but I'm still capable of coming home with loads of blurred efforts. Our visit to Welney on Saturday was no exception so I found myself particularly pleased to have got a whole run of shots more or less in focus!
Did I ever mention I love swans?????
Enjoy!
Oh well done Clare, it's often hard to get white birds to stand out clearly never mind keeping good focus on them; this is a lovely set of pics. I was feeding a pair of (sadly not Whooper) but mute swans and their family of 4 cygnets at Budworth Mere this morning; the parents are so very protective of them even though they've grown up ! Swans have such a wonderful bond - and I love them too !!
Beautiful sequence Claire well done! I love Swans too and Whoopers are my favs.
Congrats Clare, that is indeed a lovely sequence of shots. Never would have thought they were a favourite!!
They are so impressive in flight, though the mutes remain the most impressive - with mutes you can actually hear the wing beats. Fantastic.
Wow Clare they are fabulous shots, no wonder you are pleased.
Well done, Clare, lovely shots! Thanks for telling us because we would never have guessed that you like Swans--lol!
Lovely shots, Clare.
That Mallard shifted his rear just in time!
Very nice Clare.
