Hi All,
I have a day off work on Monday and had arranged to go after the Adonis Blue with a couple of friends but the one who knew where we were going has had to pull out!
Do any of you know a reliable site where we stand a half decent chance of seeing them in the Dorset / Wiltshire / Hampshire / Devon type of areas. Not too far out of Somerset basically?
Any help would be very much appreciated
Lets hope the weather holds!!
Many thanks
Best regards
Higgy

Have a look here Higgy www.dorsetbutterflies.com/.../adonis-blue I'll see if my cousin knows a good spot too. Anywhere there is lots of chalk so White Horse & Military insignias (S.Wiltshire) or Cerne abbas giant?
Best wishes

I have seen them at Durlston Head in Dorset. It is late in the season for them now though - they are pretty much finished here in Kent.

Good afternoon All,
Thank you for your replies they are appreciated.
I know it's getting late put still a chance if we get the right location and the right place within it! I'll have a look at some of your suggestions and see what I come up with. It will certainly be different to the GW Egret that I photographed on my local moor this morning!! :-)
Best
