Hi all, here's a few more birds spotted on the beach at Mount's Bay, Penzance -the bay attracts waders and has a footpath that runs alongside the beach for miles. Along this stretch are various water inlets favoured by Gulls and scrubby areas to the other side of the footpath that have Sparrows and other small birds,so there's usually always something to see!

Little Egret
Mediterranean Gull-don't know if I'm just getting better at spotting these,but I've seen in excess of 20 at different locations already this year,much more than previous years
Pied Wagtail,Juvenile I think
Wheatear
Sparrow
Ringed Plover
and a view of the Bay from the footpath (St Michael's Mount in the distance)

Just being greedy Jayne & expecting more of the little beauties! There are a few sparse sightings near to me I see on internet so will be paying a few visits soonest!
Great shots of the birds and the lovely view of Mounts Bay. Makes me yearn to visit Cornwall again.
Great capture of the Little Egret with the droplets of water spraying everywhere. Did it catch anything?

More lovely pics - and I get to go there soon! Hope I get as lucky as you have, esp with the Med Gulls (never photographed them in winter plumage). I ran along that bit of Mount's Bay last time, but this time I think I'm going to walk it with camera in hand :)
