More beach beauties

Hi all, here's  a few more birds spotted on the beach at Mount's Bay, Penzance -the bay attracts waders and has a footpath that runs alongside the beach for miles. Along this stretch are various water inlets favoured by Gulls and scrubby areas to the other side of the footpath that have Sparrows and other small birds,so there's usually always something to see!

Beautifully camouflaged Turnstone

Dunlin

Little Egret

Mediterranean Gull-don't know if I'm just getting better at spotting these, but I've seen in excess of  20 at different locations already this year, much more than previous years

Pied Wagtail,Juvenile I think

Wheatear

Sparrow

Ringed Plover

and a view of the Bay from the footpath (St Michael's Mount in the distance)

Best wishes, Jayne
