Hi there
I had a nice walk yesterday afternoon around my own patch
Walk included a walk along The Great Rriver Ouse and towards Bedford Park, {and all the little bits inbetween}
The walk along the river side showed that some major tree pruning had gone on. Is it coppicing?
I also noticed that a few new young Weeping Willows have been planted along the waters edge.
The usual 'feathered' residents where about Canadian Geese, Mallards, Greylag mix, and some other Geese nibbling at the grass.
The last two pictures of the Moorhen and the Coot are taken at Bedford Park.
More pictures....
Hope that this particulars birds leg is alright the way it is holding it up hmm...
Regards
Kathy and Dave
Looks like a nice walk along the river. Very nice photos. The guy who pollarded the trees in the third pic took his job very seriously. What were (are) they?

Thank you for your kind comments TJ
I think all the trees are Weeping Willows through the pathway.
It is the first time I have seem young WW's planted so they may be replacing the older trees
Thank you for the word 'Pollarding' the trees - could not remember LOL
