Eat Marmite and see Elvis!! **
This is another in the superbly designed BBS series from Buckingham Press - great maps and good directions. This particular tome seems heavier on site description and lighter on 'lists of spp by location/ time of year than previous ones in the series but is none the worse for it. It is packed with sites!
Basically 300pp arranged in Tour sections, 217 maps .
It brought back memories of birding Wick, Scrabster and Skye.
Excellent section on country driving in the intro and notes on Midge protection too.
Frankly this book has to be indispensable if you are up there!
