Hey :)
A long shot .... but I like long shots :)
I am looking to photograph a "wild" Wallaby in the UK, I've seen all the Deer species, the Wild Boar and quite a few of the other mammals you can find in the UK and I want to see something different.
I've been reading for a while about colonies of Wallabies in the UK and I've recently been trying to pinpoint a few locations that could prove successful, I know it's a tough task but I am up for the challenge.
I am writing here to see if anyone has seen a Wallaby in the wild in recent times. From speaking to people so far I have been told about colonies near Gatwick Airport, near Woburn, near Henley in Oxfordshire and others. I know of the colony on the island in Scotland, however this is a bit of a trek for me.
The Roaches in Staffordshire had the most potential but unfortunately it would seem they have now all died out which is a shame.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated :)
Many Thanks,
Rob

Hi Rob, I don't know of any wild ones but there are wallabies roaming in the woods around the grounds of an Otter Park in North Cornwall. I can get details if you are interested.
