Thought it was going to be a bit of a waste of time.
First, there was this Grey Heron
Then, this rather distant view of a Common Sandpiper (not the best picture I have ever taken)
Another Grey Heron
Then look what appeared, fishing by the Crossness Outfall
They do turn up in the Thames from time to time but I have never seen one before so I was really excited.

Don't think it was looking at me, it was quite a long way away. Good job I was carrying my long lens. Going to go and see if it still there on Friday, perhaps get some video of it.
