I'm not sure if they'll still be about, but you might be lucky. Skomer is run by the local wildlife trust - their website has a contact page, so it may be worth dropping them an email or call

The other classic location are the Farne Islands, off the coast of Northumberland. That's run by the National Trust www.nationaltrust.org.uk/farne-islands
Again, give them a call direct and ask - they're probably used to people asking if Puffins are still there :-)

We do have puffins on the north side of Anglesey but reckon it might be late in the season to see them now as they are one of the earliest birds to nest, could be worth trying Skomer as Joe says just in case.
Lot to learn
Hi Susannah. Probably one to put on your list for next time, our Lundy Island is famous for Puffins. Here is a site link you can email them and ask what's about

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
Thank you all for your responses! I fly into London tonight so I will be doing a ring around to see where best to hear. Sounds like Farne is going to be my best shot. Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate the local knowledge. Keeping my fingers crossed
The Farne Islands or a very nice place to see them and you don’t need a long lens to get some pictures, I will add you will have to pay to get on the Inner Farne and Staple Island both or run by the National Trust its about £6 for each Island the boat trip does not include the entrance fee :(
I have just had a look and I’m not sure if they are running an all day trip at this time you will have to phone or ask but the two hour trips or still running, if you can still get on the net google Billy Shiel Farne Islands Boat Trips all the info about the Islands and trips will be on this site.
Hope you have a nice stay and enjoy the Puffins when you see them Susannah.
cheers
