Still waiting for some recommendations Kathy, thought this would be popular

Hi seymour
Norfolk is brilliant!!!
Sound like some of the places we have visited, and some not
We will have another looks around Norfolk in the coming months and will keep names of recommended reserves close to our hearts.

Hi Laurence
We have not investigated Cambridge for any birding yet, and that is another patch for us to look into.
We have visited Cambridge once in the three years we have been living in Bedford for other reasons.
Will take a note of mentioned Reserves once more

Hi birdwatcher
Super picture of the Osprey and what a brilliant view.
Another selection of places to look into in the future - not heard of any of the mentioned placed in this case but I will investigate them.

the problem with east anglia is , no big fast route across it. Good routes along the bottom, up both sides and across the top but try getting to Minsmere from say.... Peterborough.... and it's terrible.
It's best to work a corner at a time:)
Hi Seymour, I like it that way though, being out in the sticks to get anywhere here I travel alot of little country roads, you get to see an awful lot of wildlife just travelling in the car, normaly whilst slamming on your brakes to avoid it.
There is a sufficiency in the world for man's need but not for man's greed.
