BTO WeBS Count

As anticipated, there were less birds to count in these wet, windy conditions along the Mersey Estuary. A flock of Black-tailed Godwits which had been around for a few days had gone from Hale Marshes in search of shelter however a Dunlin in full summer plumage was spotted. Two new  locations along the northern sector of the Estuary were also visited; Hale Duck Decoy and Carr Lane Pools.  Still reorganising my day's species list.
