Hello all, Spent a couple of hours at my local Vane Farm at the weekend. Rain, sleet and snow. Not all bad being confined to a hide watching the finches and trying to get the odd photo when the light allowed is fun!! honest :-) it was cold very cold. The sound of Brambling meant I was going nowhere without a shot of one.
Reed Bunting showed up.
Around 20 Yellowhammer turned up! Had to crop to get site to upload!!
Brambling Yeah.....! Light not good but ID is there.
Then out of the mist came the Loch Leven Monster.... Ok three of them! .....Buses :-0
I know it is misty but I like the feel! and anyway it was all that was on offer. White tailed Sea Eagle.
and I'm not a fan of the tags makes it look like a pet!
Hope you enjoy, I did! (three of them)
John :-)
For viewing or photography right place right time is everything. I'd rather be in the right place with poor kit than have the best kit and be in the wrong place.
OK lets hope this edit works!!! Back to the top.
Excellent pics John! I can see them all bar the one further down posted separately!! Love those yellowhammers and bramblings and the eagle is just so impressive!!

Of all creatures, man is the most detestable, he is the only creature that inflicts pain for sport, knowing it to be pain. ~ Mark Twain
Hi John

Thanks all, now it works again maybe try some more. Fingers crossed!
I can see them now John as well. Fabulous photos. Boy was that worth the wait!!!!
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Nice pictures John thanks for sharing them
