This morning, on my way to work, I stopped to see if the hares were about as usual.
I walked along the edge of a field, to a gap in the hedge into another field where I sometimes see them... imagine my surprise when I reached the gap and saw this hare just the other side!! Imagine HIS surprise!!! We stared at each other for a millisecond; I then quickly took two pics before he shot off!! Wow!
Hope the image stays a while...

Hi Marjus, he's gorgeous, close encounters with wildlife are special aren't they, I bet that made your day.

Hi Marjus. What a beautiful photo. I've never been that close to a hare - isn't he/she gorgeous. You did really well to keep your composure at such an unexpected encounter to get a couple of photos before he bolted.

I'm sure it is brilliant but I'm just getting that blue ? again!
For viewing or photography right place right time is everything. I'd rather be in the right place with poor kit than have the best kit and be in the wrong place.
I'm getting nothing, not even the little square that suggests an image was ever there. shame.

I couldn't see it 10 mins. ago and hey presto, there he is. Thank you Marjus, it is a brilliant, close up photograph.
Hi MarJus
Lovely picture of the Hare {see it}
Love the way they crouch down when they feel threatened and remain as still as can be, They have a great disguise to any BoP above
I remember seeing sitting one very close up at the side of a busy road while on a walk around Rutland Water. I though it had a near miss with a Car and was getting over the close call - it looked aright just frightened.

Haha the photo has gone for me now! But at least I've seen it! :-)
Hi Marjus,

Hi MarJus,
I can see him. Brilliant to be in the right place and right time, even if neither of you was expecting it! Excellent picture, thank you.
Cheers, Linda.
